You simply can't miss the local BBQ joints in South Jacksonville. The brisket is smoky, tender, and downright glorious! Plus, the hotel is close to tasty diners and all the sweet tea you can sip! The comfy beds helped me crash after my culinary adventures, and the staff (except one) were friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast was good, but I would have loved some eggs for that protein boost. A little more variety wouldn’t hurt, but everything was fresh and hot.

I had a wonderful stay with clean rooms and an awesome clerk who was really helpful, making my weekend city strolls enjoyable with Community Park just a short 1 km walk away and the impressive Big Eli Ferris Wheel only a 3.5 km distance, perfect for discovering local attractions.

Friendly staff, clean room, with a separate nook that includes a sink and refrigerator in addition to a bathroom sink, great customer service from the attentive lady at the front desk who made check-in and check-out a breeze and truly made us feel valued during our stay.
